I Remember When:

“Short, true stories about the moments that shaped how I lead, live, and grow.”

Not Everyone You Approach Has Good Intentions

I remember one time I saw this picture that stuck with me. It was simple, but the lesson hit deep.

There was a mouse sitting on a tree branch next to a frog. Out of curiosity, the mouse walked up to the frog, reached out, and gently patted the frog on the head.
For a brief moment, it looked like a sign of trust, maybe even friendship.

But in the very next instant, the frog opened its mouth and swallowed the mouse whole.

That image told me everything

I needed to know about life and people.
Some folks will smile at you, shake your hand, nod their head… but deep down, they’re just waiting for the right moment to strike.

It’s not about living in fear or being paranoid — it’s about staying aware.

The truth is, not everyone you approach has good intentions.
Some people see your kindness as weakness.
Some see your curiosity as an opportunity.
And some only stick around long enough to take what they want.

The lesson learned

“The Reminder”

Move wisely. Watch actions, not just words.
Never assume someone’s nature will change just because you showed them grace.

“Because some lessons never fade.”

That picture of the frog and the mouse wasn’t just a snapshot — it was a warning.
One I carry with me every day.

The frog and the mouse remind me of one thing: intentions matter more than appearances. In every connection, every deal, every move you make — stay sharp, stay aware, and remember that trust should be earned, not given freely.
